Job summary

Diverse Consulting Group is seeking an experienced software engineer to join a growing security-focused team. You will design, develop, and maintain features for the Automated Security Retest Engine, with Python and Java Spring Boot backends, REST APIs, and external tool integrations.

You will build automated tests, improve security practices, review code, and collaborate with security and product stakeholders to deliver scalable, well-documented solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development with Python and/or Java.
• Backend development and REST API experience.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot or modular Java/Python design.
• Experience writing automated tests and secure coding practices.
• Git and collaborative development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features within the Automated Security Retest Engine platform.
• Develop Python-based processing pipelines and Java Spring Boot components.
• Build integrations with external tools, services, and REST APIs.
• Improve reliability, accuracy, and quality of automated security tests.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Troubleshoot defects and implement effective solutions.
• Apply secure software development practices and data handling.
• Ensure remediation verification evidence and security testing scope compliance.
• Collaborate with security and product stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
