Job summary

Diverse Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer in Poland to lead automated and manual testing efforts. You will design, implement and maintain automation frameworks, develop test scenarios in Gherkin, and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality across integrations and data validation.

The role emphasizes Python, Robot Framework, and strong SQL skills, with experience in qTest, Jira, and CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software testing experience, including test automation.
• Experience with Python and Robot Framework in test automation.
• Knowledge of testing integrations and file formats like XML, CSV and JSON.
• Strong SQL skills and relational databases (MS SQL preferred).
• Understanding of HTTP and system integrations; experience with CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute testing activities in line with quality standards and project timelines
• Design, implement and maintain manual and automated test cases
• Develop and improve test automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework
• Create automated test scenarios using Gherkin or similar approaches
• Execute test cases and report test progress and results in qTest
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and support defect management activities
• Analyse requirements and define appropriate testing approaches and test coverage
• Prepare and manage test data, test environments and service virtualization required for efficient testing
• Perform integration and data validation testing across different file formats and systems
• Support investigation and resolution of production issues
• Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders and other technical teams
• Apply testing best practices and continuously improve testing processes and tooling
