Job summary

Vector Synergy is seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master in Poland to lead and coach our Scrum team. You will facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, and collaborate with the Product Owner to optimize the backlog and deliver iterative software increments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years IT experience, Scrum Master certification, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive continuous improvement and align with business goals.

Qualifications

• English language skills: CEFR B2 or higher.
• IT relevant professional experience: at least 5 years.
• Project experience relevant to the profile or a similar position: at least 3 years.
• At least 1 Scrum Master or internationally recognized equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum rules, techniques and practices.
• Hands-on Scrum management experience.
• Expert in estimating and planning iterative/incremental software development.
• Knowledge of Kanban, XP, etc.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, leadership and mentoring skills.
• Experience as a team lead.
• Experienced expert in Scrum ceremonies with examples from own projects.
• Introduced at least 3 improvements in team organization in the last 12 months.
• Demonstrates involvement in business context and goals of Scrum tasks.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating meetings for the scrum team.
• Coaching team members, mediating conflicts, helping the team decide, fostering self-organisation.
• Facilitating agile team learning processes.
• Help write/split user stories and order product backlog items.
• Facilitate open communication with stakeholders.
• Support the team in removing impediments.
• Support the product owner in backlog optimization.
• Safeguard, monitor and improve teamwork methods.
• Lead adoption of Scrum for stakeholders.
• Implement changes to increase team productivity.
• Support effective use of Scrum logs, metrics, charts, etc.

Job description

• Experience as a team lead ;
• Experienced expert in Scrum team ceremonies, able to provide examples from own projects ;
• Introduced at least 3 improvements in team organization during the last 12 months ;
• Demonstrates involvement in business context and goals of Scrum tasks .

Duties/role:

• Facilitating meetings for the scrum team ;
• Coaching team members, mediating through conflicts, helping the team to make decisions, fostering the developer team’s self- organisation , mediating the general conflict of goals between development team (high technical quality) and product owner (more features) ;
• Facilitating agile team learning process ;
• Helping to write or split user stories, to write or adapt product visions, to order product backlog items, the release planning ;
• Facilitation open communication between the scrum team with other stakeholders ;
• Supporting the team in getting rid of impediments ;
• Supporting product owner in optimization of product backlog ;
• Safeguarding, monitoring and improving the method of teamwork ;
• Leading for adoption of scum for stakeholders ;
• Implementing changes to increase team’s productivity ;
• Supporting the team in effective use of scrum logs, metrics, charts etc.
