Job summary

DCG, a recruitment company, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple IT projects in Poland. You will facilitate scrum ceremonies, coach teams, and help align development goals with business priorities to deliver high-quality software.

We value strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record in nurturing self-organising teams and continuous improvement across agile practices such as Kanban and XP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position.
• English level: B2 confirmed by a certificate or be willing to take the exam.
• At least 1 certification among: Scrum Master certification or an equivalent certification recognized internationally.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum rules, techniques and practices.
• Hands-on experience in Scrum management, up to the number of years required for the profile under "minimum experience at similar position".
• Expert in estimating and planning iterative and incremental software development.
• Knowledge of other agile approaches such as Kanban, XP, etc
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, leadership and mentoring skills
• Experience as a team lead
• Experienced expert in Scrum team ceremonies, able to provide examples from own projects
• Introduced at least 3 improvements in team organization in the last 12 months
• Demonstrates involvement in the business context and goals of Scrum tasks

Responsibilities

• Facilitating meetings for the scrum team

• Facilitating agile team learning process
• Helping to write or split user stories, to write or adapt product visions, to order product backlog items, the release planning
• Facilitating open communication between the scrum team and other stakeholders
• Supporting the team in getting rid of impediments
• Supporting product owner in optimization of product backlog
• Safeguarding, monitoring and improving the method of teamwork
• Leading the adoption of scrum for stakeholders
• Implementing changes to increase team's productivity
• Supporting the team in effective use of scrum logs, metrics, charts etc
