Job summary

HAVI Logistics Business Services GmbH in Kraków is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to guide agile delivery teams and partner with product management and leadership. The role focuses on applying Lean/Agile principles to improve value and quality for customers across our global supply chain services.

You will coach teams, facilitate events, and drive continuous improvement. The position requires 3–5 years as a Scrum Master in software environments, SAFe familiarity, and strong communication

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as Scrum Master in software development.
• Experience with SAFe and agile frameworks.
• Proven ability to coach teams and enable delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Scrum, Kanban and agile methods are followed as agreed by the team.
• Identifies and removes bottlenecks at organizational level.
• Facilitates planning, grooming, reviews and retrospectives for delivery.
• Collaborates with Product Owners, engineering leaders and management on strategy and roadmap.
• Promotes transparency, continuous improvement, and scaling frameworks (SAFe/LeSS).
• Coaches team members on Scrum and agile best practices.
• Governs the Definition of Done with automated tests, security checks, CI/CD deliverables.
• Works with product teams to address gaps in Done and delivery.

Scrum Master

The Scrum Master is an organizational servant‑leader who works with agile delivery teams, product management, the leadership team, and other parts of the business to improve our ability to deliver value and quality to our customer base. This position will guide and serve teams that deliver technology solutions, through effective application of the Lean/Agile principles and frameworks including Scrum, Kanban Method, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Responsibilities

• Ensures Scrum, Kanban and other agile methods are being followed as agreed to by the team
• Proactively identifies and eliminates complex, organizational-level bottlenecks that hinder progress.
• Facilitates Scrum events (planning, grooming, reviews, retrospectives) and ensures high‑quality, on‑time delivery of product increments.
• Collaborates with Product Owners, engineering leaders, and management to align on strategy, roadmap, delivery and release plans.
• Promotes transparency, drives continuous improvement, and implements scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) across the organization.
• Coach team members on Scrum and agile best practices
• Governs the “Definition of Done” process to ensure product and engineering goals are being fulfilled, including, but not limited to: automated test results, security test results, automated CI and CD results and contractual deliverables
• Works with the product development teams to address gaps in fulfilling “Done”.

Experience

• Must have 3-5 years serving as an active Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Participated in Program Increment (PI) planning as a scrum master
• Proven knowledge and practical experience of agile software development methodologies, values, principles, and practices.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and empower the team to reach their highest potential.
• Excellent team player and team builder.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with personnel at all levels of the organization and with diverse personality types.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and time sensitive work.
• Ability to coach the team and help mature agile best practices environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to understand technical issues at a high level.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Must have strong familiarity with or experience working with SAFe.
• Scrummed multiple teams including geographically dispersed teams in organizations with hybrid full‑time and outsourced resources models.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Must have CSM, PMI‑ACP or SAFe 4.0 Scrum Master certification.

• Industry experience in supply chain or logistics
• Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience.
• PMP, SA and/or SPC certifications are highly desired but not required.
