Job summary

EY GDS Consulting Services in Katowice is seeking an experienced SAP CO Senior Consultant to help transform clients’ controlling and management accounting processes by delivering robust SAP CO solutions within complex IT programs.

You will work on end-to-end SAP CO implementations, ensure integration with FI and other modules, and partner with R&D teams to drive best practices and new SAP innovations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SAP CO including Product Costing, Margin Analysis, Cost Center Accounting.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project, preferably S/4HANA.
• Understanding of integration between CO and FI, SD, MM, PP.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in end-to-end IT transformation programs focusing on SAP CO.
• Contribute to greenfield, brownfield, and S/4HANA conversions.
• Configure and deliver SAP CO solutions: Product Costing, Margin Analysis, Material Ledger.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into CO system solutions.
• Ensure CO integration with FI and other modules (SD, MM, PP).
• Report progress and document results of implementations and post-implementation reviews.
• Work with R&D teams to implement best practices and new SAP solutions.

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced SAP CO Senior Consultant to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team. In this role, you will support clients in transforming their controlling and management accounting processes by delivering robust SAP CO solutions within complex IT transformation programs.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Support clients in end-to-end IT transformation programs with a focus on SAP Controlling (CO)
• Contribute to implementation projects, including greenfield, brownfield, and S/4HANA system conversions
• Configure and deliver SAP CO solutions (e.g., Product Costing, Margin Analysis, Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders)
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze controlling processes and translate requirements into system solutions
• Ensure proper integration of CO with FI and other modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP)
• Participate in implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.
• Collaboration with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
• Report the progress of R&D projects and document the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Functional Expertise – strong knowledge of SAP CO processes with hands‑on experience in S/4HANA projects
• Project Delivery & Methodology – experience in delivering end‑to‑end implementations
• Stakeholder & Communication Skills – ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Hands‑on experience in SAP CO module (e.g., Product Costing, Margin Analysis, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders)
• Experience in at least one end‑to‑end SAP implementation project, preferably in S/4HANA
• Understanding of integration between CO and other SAP modules (FI, SD, MM, PP)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• German language skills are an advantage
• Confidence to take initiative and grow into more senior responsibilities
