Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd is looking for a Senior SAP SD Consultant to join their EY GDS SAP Practice team. You will implement SAP systems in Sales, Material Management, and Logistics, participating in advisory projects with leading clients in the EMEA region.

The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience with SAP SD, a hands-on approach to R&D projects, and readiness to travel. The position supports a flexible 2 days in-office and 3 days remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Business processes end-to-end knowledge.
• Experience in data migration and cutover preparation.

Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

Right now, we are looking for a Senior SAP SD Consultant to join our EY GDS SAP Practice team focused on providing cutting‑edge IT solutions dedicated to the biggest market players in the EMEA region, as well as other customers worldwide.

As a member of our team, you’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in advisory projects – implementation of SAP systems in Sales, Material Management and Logistics. You’ll also participate in post‑implementation review of chosen processes as well as in coordination of the main project tasks.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3+ years of experience in SAP SD implementation
• Business processes end‑to‑end knowledge
• Experience in data migration, cutover preparation and execution
• Strong knowledge about configuration of OTC processes like sales of services, returns, pricing, aATP, billing, credit/debit memos, BRF+, third‑party, etc.
• Knowledge in implementation of system enhancements and preparation of functional specifications
• Strong knowledge about project methodologies
• Experience in standard project tasks: test cases, analysis, documentation
• Readiness to participate in SAP consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities.
• Hands‑on approach to collaborating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
• Willingness to report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post‑implementation review.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• SAP SD certification
• Another European language is an advantage
• Knowledge about other SAP logistic modules would be an advantage
• Great sense of humour
