Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented sanctions screening professional for Citi Solutions Center Poland. The role involves verifying transactions against sanctions requirements, collaborating with bank units, and ensuring compliance with Citi policies.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken (B2 or higher).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on service quality.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Readiness to work in shifts (early – 7:00 AM, mid – 9:00 AM, late – 11:30 AM), including public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform verification of transactions and documentation against sanctions requirements within defined timelines.
• Collaborate with other bank units.
• Ensure compliance with Citi procedures and rules.
• Active order management from receipt to completion (status tracking, handling queries, sending reminders).
• Identify and escalate issues encountered during daily activities.
• Provide support to other teams as directed by the manager.
• Assess risk when making business decisions to safeguard Citi and assets by driving compliance with laws and policy.

Sanctions Screening HUB is a specialized unit providing sanctions control services. The HUB was created in June 2015 and has consistently expanded its range of services and geographical coverage since then. The team places special emphasis on providing the highest quality services combined with timely performance, while ensuring that operational activities are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Global Sanctions Policy.

Responsibilities:

• Perform verification of transactions and documentation against sanctions requirements within defined timelines
• Collaborate with other bank units
• Ensure compliance with the procedures and rules prevailing at Citi
• Active order management from receipt to completion (status tracking, handling queries, sending reminders)
• Identify and escape issues encountered during daily activities
• Provide support to other teams as directed by the manager
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:
