Job summary

ISS Global Finance Service Centre in Gdańsk is seeking an RTR Junior Associate to deliver front office transactional RTR services, focusing on cost recording, cashbook analysis, and key control account reconciliations. You will support month-end close processes and uphold general ledger integrity across teams in Europe.

The role involves close collaboration with Suppliers, stakeholders, and RTR Managers, requires a finance-focused degree, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance and accounting is preferred or near completion.
• Some experience in a similar role (including internships).
• Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing, enabling communication with English-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash file uploads, reconciliations, and manual payments.
• Oversee fixed assets creation, transfers, depreciation, and period closing activities.
• Reconcile costs, payroll, and journal entries to ensure general ledger accuracy.
• Post journal entries, reversals, VAT reporting, and data submission for statutory reporting.

Main Purpose Of The Position

To our newly established Global Finance Service Centre based in Gdańsk, we are looking for RTR Junior Associate who will provide front office transactional RTR services to the business, focusing on recording costs, analyzing cashbook entries and reconciling key control accounts. Facilitating delivery of month end close activity, with subsequent query handling. Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger through the promotion of best practice. As ISS Finance Service Center, we provide Finance & Accounting services to European countries. Core services include cover Accounting (RTR), Customer billing, banking & reporting (OTC) and Accounts Payables activities (PTP). ISS FSC is on an exciting journey to expand the offer of provided services along with a wider scope of PTP activities.

What You Will Do

• Cash Management: Handle bank file uploads, reconciliations, and manual payments.
• Fixed Assets: Manage FA creation, transfers, capitalization, period closing, depreciation, reconciliation, sales, scrap, and inventory counts. Process rent invoices and handle car lease end activities.
• General Ledger: Reconcile telecom costs, resolve payroll errors, and process cleaning machine journals.
• Period Close: Post journal entries, perform reversals, book canteen inventory, handle VAT reporting, and submit data to the Statistic Center.

• A university degree, preferably in finance and accounting, or the last year of studies
• The first experience in a similar position (including internships)
