Job summary

ISS Tech Team in Gdańsk is seeking an experienced RTR Associate to provide front office transactional RTR services. You will process journal entries, allocate costs, and perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate general ledger and high-quality month-end close.

The role requires 2+ years RTR experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent English communication. Hybrid work in the center of Gdańsk with opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance and accounting or final year student.
• 2+ years RTR experience.
• Proficient in Excel (lookup, pivot).
• Very good English in speech and writing for external/internal clients.
• Experience with outsourced Finance Shared Service Centre is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process journal entries in line with accounting policies.
• Execute cost allocations per predefined rules and schedules.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct month-end close checks and QA of accounting records.
• Manage user access rights in NAV@ISS in line with internal controls.

Main Purpose of the Position

To our newly established Global Finance Service Centre based in Gdańsk, we are looking for an experienced RTR Associate who will provide front office transactional RTR services to the business. The role focuses on processing journal entries and cost allocations, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting access control in NAV@ISS. The RTR Associate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger by facilitating high-quality month-end close activities and conducting accounting quality assurance. The position also involves handling post-close queries and promoting best practices in financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

What Will You Do

• Journal Entries: Process standard and recurring journal entries in accordance with accounting policies
• Cost Allocations: Execute cost allocation entries based on predefined rules and schedules
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
• Month-End Close: Conduct accounting quality assurance checks during month-end close activities
• Access Control: Manage user access rights in NAV@ISS system, ensuring compliance with internal controls

Professional Skills You Possess

• A university degree, preferably in finance and accounting, or the last year of studies
• 2+ years RTR experience
• Proficient in Excel, including lookup formulas and pivot tables.
• Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing, allowing for easy communication with external and internal English-speaking clients
• Prior experience of working with an outsourced Finance Shared Service Centre is preferable but not mandatory
