Job summary

ISS A/S is establishing a Global Finance Service Centre in Gdańsk and seeks an RTR Junior Associate to deliver front office transactional RTR services, focusing on recording costs, reviewing cashbook entries and reconciling key control accounts.

You will support month-end close activities, maintain general ledger integrity, and collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders across Europe. Hybrid work in a central Gdańsk location is offered along with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance and accounting or final year of studies.
• First experience in a similar position (including internships).
• Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing.

Responsibilities

• Cash management: handle bank file uploads, reconciliations, and manual payments.
• Fixed assets: manage FA creation, transfers, capitalization, depreciation, and related reconciliations.
• General Ledger: reconcile telecom costs, payroll errors resolution, and journal processing.
• Period close: post journal entries, reversals, VAT reporting, and data submission to statistics.

Main purpose of the position:

To our newly established Global Finance Service Centre based in Gdańsk, we are looking for RTR Junior Associate who will provide front office transactional RTR services to the business, focusing on recording costs, analyzing cashbook entries and reconciling key control accounts. Facilitating delivery of month end close activity, with subsequent query handling. Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger through the promotion of best practice.

As ISS Finance Service Center, we provide Finance & Accounting services to European countries. Core services include cover Accounting (RTR), Customer billing, banking & reporting (OTC) and Accounts Payables activities (PTP). ISS FSC is on an exciting journey to expand the offer of provided services along with a wider scope of PTP activities.

What you will do:

• Cash Management: Handle bank file uploads, reconciliations, and manual payments.
• Fixed Assets: Manage FA creation, transfers, capitalization, period closing, depreciation, reconciliation, sales, scrap, and inventory counts. Process rent invoices and handle car lease end activities.
• General Ledger: Reconcile telecom costs, resolve payroll errors, and process cleaning machine journals.
• Period Close: Post journal entries, perform reversals, book canteen inventory, handle VAT reporting, and submit data to the Statistic Center.

Professional skills you possess:

• A university degree, preferably in finance and accounting, or the last year of studies
• The first experience in a similar position (including internships)
• Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing, allowing for easy communication with external and internal English-speaking clients
