Job summary

Lufthansa Group Business Services in Kraków is seeking a data analytics specialist to support route profitability decisions through analytics and data science.

You will build and enhance BI/data analytics solutions, translate business requirements into technical designs, and drive data engineering, processing methods, and IT applications for route performance. Strong English is required; German is a plus. A university degree and Poland work permit are necessary.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Professional experience in advanced analytics, ML, statistics
• Experience with Python, R and cloud technologies or SAP BW/DSP; BI tools SAC/Tableau
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• English fluency; German a plus
• Must possess permit to work in Poland

Responsibilities

• Support and development of BI and Data Analytics solutions
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Further develop data engineering and processing methods
• Implement department IT applications and systems
• Identify and integrate new data sources for analytics
• Plan and steer projects; provide leadership where applicable
