Job summary

Lufthansa Systems Poland seeks a Business Analyst with aviation background to translate operations into IT requirements for flight planning and airline operations projects.

You will analyse, document, and refine requirements, collaborate with Product Owners and developers in an international environment, and support implementation of IT solutions for aviation users in a hybrid Gdańsk-based role.

Qualifications

• Aviation background gained through relevant education or hands-on experience in flight planning, flight operations, or a related area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for structuring complex problems and pragmatic solutions.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or in requirements engineering, or motivation to develop in this area.
• Ability to translate operational needs into structured requirements for development and testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational scenarios, user needs, and business processes in the aviation domain.
• Elicit, document, structure, and refine functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into implementation-ready specifications for development and testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, researchers, developers, and other product roles in an international environment.
• Support solution design, implementation, and validation to meet user and operational needs.
• Continuously improve analysis techniques, documentation, and ways of working.
