Job summary

Wonder in Boston is seeking a highly organized Engineering Buyer to support our R&D Engineering teams in rapidly developing robotics for Wonder's next-generation restaurants. You will execute purchases, vet vendors, and manage the vendor lifecycle end-to-end across multiple projects, while collaborating with engineering and finance teams to resolve procurement challenges.

This role requires 4+ days in the office weekly and offers a competitive salary with equity and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain for hardware/automation products.
• BS in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, or related field; technical familiarity preferred.
• Experience coordinating with engineering, finance, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage PO transactions for engineering components across sensors, actuators, passive components, testing tools, and custom-fabricated parts.
• Track open orders, monitor lead times, and expedite critical shipments to align with build milestones.
• Onboard new vendors and manage ongoing vendor accounts, invoicing and returns (RMAs).
• Coordinate with legal on NDAs and vendor contracts; support cross-functional procurement tooling improvements.
