Bradford Jacobs is assisting an AI drone solutions company, offering cutting-edge aerial solutions across a range of sectors, including construction, agriculture, real estate, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure inspection. Their mission is to harness drone technology to deliver high-quality data, insights, and visual content to enable clients to make informed decisions.
The Purchasing Specialist will lead our client's procurement operations in Rzeszow, managing the full supply chain from supplier identification and qualification through contract negotiation and purchase order management. The Purchasing Specialist will establish our clients procurement framework in Poland and develop the supplier base to support the Rzeszow facilities operational requirement.
Key responsibilities;
- Lead the full procurement cycle: supplier identification, RFQ/RFP issuance, negotiations, and contract finalisation.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers - local, national, and international.
- Develop and implement the procurement strategy for the Rzeszow facility, including purchasing policy and approval procedures.
- Oversee inventory levels: minimum stock levels, reorder points, and seasonal planning.
- Negotiate Master Supply Agreements and payment terms with vendors.
- Ensure procurement compliance with Polish public procurement law and the client's internal policies.
- Track supplier performance metrics: on-time delivery, quality pricing, and payment terms.
- Collaborate with the Technical Department on specifying materials, components, an equipment.
- Manage import orders: customs documentation, Incoterms, and freight forwarder coordination.
- Report key procurement metrics to management: savings achieved, supplier turnover, and supply chain risk.
Required Qualifications;
- 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- University degree: Logistics Management, Engineering, Economics or related.
- Fluency in Polish and English - negotiations and documentation in both languages.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating vendor contracts and achieving cost savings.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) — procurement modules.
- Understanding of EU import procedures, Incoterms terminology, and customs law basics.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheets and cost modeling.
Preferred Qualifications;
- Experience in the industrial, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing sector — preferred given the Aviation Valley location.
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or APICS CSCP certification.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers from Germany, Austria, or the Czech Republic.
- Knowledge of EU procurement regulations and REACH/RoHS compliance for technical components.

Salary range: €36,000 - €40,000 per annum
