Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. in Poland seeks a Reporting Specialist to help enhance data management, reporting processes, and investment controlling initiatives that support strategic decisions.

You will contribute to PMI data projects, expand the Group Investment Planning Tool, and prepare PMI status reports for the International Investment Controlling workstream. Fluent English and IFRS9 knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics or Mathematics or related field with focus on Finance/Controlling/Accounting/Banking
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position
• Very good knowledge of methods and instruments used in investment controlling, accounting, and capital market analysis
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS 9 standard
• Ability to present findings clearly both verbally and graphically

Responsibilities

• Support data management interfaces expansion within PMI projects

Your responsibilities

• supporting the expansion of data management interfaces within the scope of current post merger integration projects (PMI)
• supporting the reporting process in the scope of LGAAP, IFRS9, and ESG data
• coordinating and actively contributing to data quality improvement initiatives in cooperation with international companies
• expanding the Group Investment Planning Tool (GIP) to incorporate specific requirements arising from PMI projects
• preparing PMI project status reports and monitoring for the International Investment Controlling workstream
• participating in projects related to the centralization of investment accounting

Our requirements

• fluent English
• university degree in Economics or Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on Finance, Controlling, Accounting, or Banking
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position and respective area of responsibility; sound knowledge of capital market instruments, their balance sheet impact and asset management processes
• very good knowledge of methods and instruments used in investment controlling, accounting, and capital market analysis
• excellent analytical thinking skills with a strong understanding of numbers, and expertise in assessing complex business issues with the ability to present findings clearly both verbally and graphically in an understandable way
• in-depth knowledge of the IFRS 9 standard
• strong initiative, an independent, structured and results-oriented approach to work, combined with excellent teamwork and communication skills
• excellent knowledge of MS Office standard software, particularly Excel and Power BI
• CFA or banking certification would be an asset
• German language skills
