Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Repair Quality Engineer to own and manage quality across Repair Operations, ensuring excellence throughout the process and acting as the voice of the customer. You will work with global quality teams and interface with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Service teams to improve performance in EMEA repair centers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3+ years in quality-related roles, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with prior quality experience is required.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or repair operations.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency with quality tools (8D, DFMEA, CPK).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Quality assurance certification or Six Sigma belt is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Initiate detailed quality plans to define goals addressing customer expectations and deliverables.
• Lead cross functional activities to address qualification and quality events using an 8D approach.
• Drive complex problem resolution using JIRA and 8D across investigations to raise customer satisfaction.
• Champion design/manufacturing improvements based on return data analysis to reduce customer bounce.
• Develop, maintain, and report quality KPIs against stated goals and objectives.
• Present quality performance results to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage quality performance across EMEA repair centers and drive corrective actions when needed.
