Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in Special Processes and Quality to drive supplier qualification and corrective actions. You will analyze quality data, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate action boards with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy/ Chemistry engineering or similar field.
• 5+ years professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering/Special Processes, Quality.
• Knowledge of Quality Regulations, QMS, Auditing/Assessing, Risk Management / CI.
• Experience with AS9100 and Nadcap standards.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Execute processor qualification / certification, assessment and escape management.
• Review quality data and contribute to corrective actions with suppliers.
• Lead root cause analysis using Red-X & 8D methodologies.
• Coordinate supplier qualification / certification and corrective action boards.
• Ensure RTX supplier quality compliance and continuous improvement.
• Drive proactive quality tools (PFMEA, MSA, SPC) with suppliers.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
