Job summary

US Tech Solutions is hiring a Quality Engineer for a 12-month contract with 100% remote work. The role focuses on ensuring products meet established quality standards, applying ISO and QSR requirements, and coordinating with suppliers to achieve quality goals.

The position requires 3–5 years in quality engineering and a Bachelor’s in engineering, with CQE/CRE preferred. Candidates will collaborate across departments and manage quality plans and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent with CQE certification.
• CQE or CRE certification preferred.
• 3-5 years in a Quality Engineering role; medical device experience preferred.
• Combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates process methods/equipment to meet performance and quality requirements.
• Establishes quality plans for equipment and processes.
• Monitors process performance to standards.
• Applies ISO and QSR requirements to processes and suppliers.
• Works with suppliers on new product introduction to ensure quality.
• Assists Manufacturing, Sourcing and Development in interpreting regulations.
• Develops and maintains department and project budgets.
