Job summary

COG Research Foundation, LLC is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to maintain and create technical documentation for software projects. You will work with users, developers, and IT staff to translate complex information into clear manuals, guides, and SOPs.

The role supports the COG Research Foundation remotely, with potential travel and must reside in the United States. The salary ranges from $77,625 to $112,620 per year, with hiring typically based on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of professional experience as a technical writer or related writing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science or related field, or substitute with 4 additional years of technical writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently creates, maintains, and enhances user guides, style sheets, templates, and automated review processes using RoboHelp 2022.
• Analyses, authors, edits, and maintains technical documentation for software applications and related materials.
• Develops, reviews and maintains procedural documentation including SOPs, work instructions, and disaster recovery plans.
