Job summary

Utopia Design is seeking a seasoned Interior Designer to lead high-end residential and hospitality projects. The role emphasizes FF&E, technical drawings, and strong collaboration with CGI artists, architects, and suppliers.

Flexible, fully remote work with CET/UK hours is offered for complex tropical-area projects. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of professional experience, a solid portfolio, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture or equivalent.
• Proven experience in high-end residential/hospitality interiors.
• 5–10 years as Interior Designer.
• Strong understanding of materials and finishes.
• Spatial thinking from micro to macro scales.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Rhino, Grasshopper, SketchUp and Adobe Suite.
• Ability to produce sketch renders for internal reviews.
• Strong presentation and client-facing skills.
• Portfolio of work (professional and academic).
• Professional level English.
• Ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Interpret client briefs and develop concepts with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Produce interior sketches, detailed drawings, schedules and renders.
• Specify finishes, products and fixtures to meet project goals.
• Prepare FF&E documents and collaborate with procurement.
• Coordinate with local suppliers, designers and manufacturers.
• Design spaces optimized for high-end user experience.
