Job summary

Utopia Design is seeking a dynamic Structural Design Engineer to support luxury boutique hospitality projects worldwide. You will lead from concept to construction detailing, ensuring safety and seismics while preserving architectural intent.

This fully remote role collaborates with a global team. You will coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP engineers, and FF&E procurement, delivering detailed drawings and production-ready specs, while staying aligned with local codes and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
6–10 years of structural design experience in design firms or GC.
Experience in seismic design for hospitality projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Design structural systems for luxury villas and boutique hotels.
Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP and branding teams.
Produce detailed drawings and construction specifications in Revit/AutoCAD.
Perform structural analysis and seismic design to ensure safety and performance.
Review deliverables from third-party consultants and ensure compliance.
Guide material selection balancing cost, sustainability, and architectural intent.
