Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Senior Application Security Consultant for Strategic Services on a remote basis in the U.S. You will deliver security assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews for diverse clients, guiding remediation and risk reduction.

You’ll communicate findings to technical and executive audiences, mentor teammates, and help evolve our AppSec offerings while embracing emerging AI tools to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience delivering application security services including threat modeling and architecture reviews.
• Experience with AppSec/DevSecOps program assessments and security controls.
• Development or architecture background with secure coding practices.
• Operational DevSecOps experience and strong writing/communication skills.
• Minimum 6 years in Application Security or software development, 3+ years in AppSec.

Responsibilities

• Deliver application security services to clients across industries.
• Communicate findings, craft remediation guidance, and produce reports.
• Contribute to evolving service offerings and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into SDLC.
