Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Strategic Security Advisor to serve as a senior consultant to our most strategic customers in the New England region. You will develop consultative relationships with customer leaders and identify opportunities to deliver GuidePoint Security solutions addressing critical security challenges.

You will guide cyber risk, compliance, and security program development while representing the company as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with advisory/senior customer-facing roles
• Ability to influence executive leadership and drive outcomes
• Proven track record building executive-level relationships
• Deep expertise across risk, compliance, incident response, and security architecture
• Strong business acumen translating tech to business value
• Excellent communication/presentation to C-level
• Established New England cybersecurity community reputation
• Must be local to New England area

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain deep consultative relationships with customer executives and security leaders
• Identify opportunities where GuidePoint Security solutions address customer needs and objectives
• Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity strategy, risk management and security program development
• Represent GuidePoint Security as a subject matter expert in the community
• Collaborate with sales, delivery and product teams to ensure seamless experiences
• Stay current on threats, trends, and regulatory changes affecting the region
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to advisory frameworks and best practices
• Identify opportunities for program efficiency and alignment across engagements
