Job summary

GuidePoint Security LLC is seeking an AI Security Engineer for the North Central region, offering remote work in the U.S. You will design, implement, and secure generative AI solutions and provide governance assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews for enterprise clients.

You will collaborate across AppSec, Cloud Security, and IAM to deliver secure AI services and a growing AI security practice portfolio. Strong communication and client engagement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of security engineering with cloud/app security focus.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms (Anthropic Claude Enterprise, OpenAI ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot).
• Familiarity with cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, Azure AI Foundry, Google Vertex).
• Strong understanding of generative AI concepts, LLMs, and prompt injection risks.
• Ability to deliver professional client-facing engagement deliverables.

Responsibilities

• AI Security Architecture & Assessment: review AI platforms for security controls and gaps.
• Threat Modeling for AI systems: lead AI-specific threat modeling exercises.
• AI Coding Tool & Development Environment Security: assess sandboxing and plugin controls.
• Secure AI Integration Guidance: advise safe integration of SaaS AI services into apps.
• Data Security & Privacy Controls: design data handling and encryption controls.
• Shadow AI Discovery: inventory unsanctioned AI tool usage.
