Experis is seeking a Senior AI Backend Engineer to design and build scalable AI-powered platforms. The role focuses on multi-agent systems, advanced RAG architectures, and high-performance backend services, with 100% remote work.

You will collaborate across AI and platform teams to deliver production-grade GenAI solutions, requiring 5+ years in backend engineering and strong Go and Python expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of Go (Golang).
• Strong hands-on Python in AI/ML contexts.
• Experience building AI apps with RAG, vector databases, and token streaming.
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing, distributed systems, and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement stateful multi-agent workflows and autonomous tool-calling systems.
• Build and optimize Advanced RAG pipelines with data ingestion, vector DBs, and reranking.
• Develop high-performance backend services emphasizing scalability, low latency, and concurrency.
• Create clean, strongly typed APIs for web and CLI applications.
• Improve reliability with robust error handling, monitoring, and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with AI and platform teams to deliver production-ready GenAI solutions.
