Job summary

blau direkt is seeking an experienced Senior Golang Engineer to design, build, and scale backend services and AI-enabled workflows. You will own architecture discussions, ship production-grade Go code, and collaborate with product and QA teams to deliver value.

You’ll focus on scalable backend systems, APIs, and platform capabilities powering AI workflows, with frontend exposure as a plus. A strong emphasis on observability and operational excellence drives this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Go.
• Production-grade backend or platform systems experience.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Experience designing scalable, available, and reliable systems.
• Hands-on observability: metrics, logs, tracing, alerting.
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience with AI tools, LLM APIs, or AI-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable Go backend services and platform components.
• Create APIs and integrations between internal services, AI models, and external systems.
• Develop AI-powered workflows and agent-based solutions when valuable.
• Contribute to AI solution architecture and implement alongside the engineering team.
• Ensure systems have strong failure handling, debuggability, and observability.
• Drive productionisation of LLM-based functionality and monitor performance.
• Lead technical initiatives from concept through production operations.
• Write clean, well-tested Go code and participate in code reviews.
