Job summary

GFIC Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult.Ing communicates a fully remote Sales Manager role for Poland and neighboring markets. The position drives end-to-end sales of phosphate and specialty ingredients in pet food and human food sectors, acting as the technical face of the business.

You will translate ingredient science into clear value propositions, manage pricing, and collaborate with R&D to tailor formulations. Travel up to 30-40% for visits and events is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years in technical sales or application support in food ingredients.
• Experience selling functional ingredients (phosphates, hydrocolloids, emulsifiers, acids, proteins, fibers).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for specialty food ingredients across Poland and neighbouring countries.
• Identify and qualify new prospects within pet food and human food processors, building a robust pipeline.
• Deliver technical presentations and conduct on-site or virtual trials to demonstrate product performance.
• Collaborate with R&D to adapt formulations and support new product development.
• Manage pricing negotiations, contracts, and order forecasting to meet sales targets.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes and translate insights into actionable plans.
