Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company is seeking a Regional Director, Materials Operations to lead regional materials management across Asia and EMEA, ensuring supply continuity and strong inventory performance.

You'll partner with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and site teams to optimize supplier performance, lead-time reduction, and cost control while standardizing governance across sites. A Master’s degree and 15+ years of leadership in materials or supply chain are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Manufacturing Operations.
• Proven leadership experience in a regional or multi-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional materials operations, ensuring supply continuity and effective inventory management across Asia and EMEA sites.
• Drive inventory performance, including inventory targets, ITO improvement, FOL reviews, and materials-related KPIs.
• Support supply risk mitigation, shortage management, and CTB fulfillment to meet customer and business requirements.
• Partner with Procurement and Operations to improve supplier performance, localization strategies, lead-time reduction, and cost optimization.
• Establish and standardize materials governance processes, ensuring alignment across multiple sites and business units.
• Provide guidance and support to site materials teams, including training, best practice sharing, and operational reviews.
• Support new site launches, greenfield projects, expansions, and business ramp-up activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
