Job summary

Versigent, spun out of Aptiv, seeks a Global Materials Leader to steer strategy and CAPEX consolidation across regions. You will build capabilities, scale the organization, and mentor a multinational team of materials engineers while aligning with engineering, product, operations, and IT to embed materials tools in processes.

Requirements include an Engineering degree, 5+ years of managerial experience, fluent English (German a plus), and mobility for global responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 5+ years of experience as a manager.
• Fluent English; German would be an asset.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Mobility and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Act as global lead for materials strategy across regions and teams.
• Consolidate CAPEX investments related to materials.
• Manage global materials budget aligned with organizational needs.
• Oversee development of global materials capabilities and competencies.
• Build and scale the organization with hiring and development plans.
• Mentor a global team of materials engineers and ensure high-quality services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, and IT.
