Job summary

Flex is seeking a Fulfillment Supervisor in Bielsko-Biała, Poland, to lead procurement of direct materials and manage a team of buyers. You will ensure aligned delivery requirements and quality specifications, reporting to Senior Materials Manager.

The role includes supervising procurement operations, approving POs, monitoring supplier performance, optimizing inventory, and implementing HR actions to recruit and retain a motivated workforce. Proficiency in English and ERP is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in logistics or a closely related field.
• At least 3 years in a managerial position in logistics/purchasing.
• CPIM certificate or similar is an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP or any ERP system is an asset.
• Strong MS Office skills and professional English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement of direct materials, parts, components and equipment.
• Lead and develop a team of buyers to meet procurement goals.
• Supervise the supply chain to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Approve purchase orders and change notices.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and drive improvements.
• Monitor on-time deliveries, inventory, MRPs, and cost variances.
• Escalate issues to the Senior Materials Manager.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain staff.

Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in procurement consistent with delivery requirements and quality specifications.**What a typical day looks like:*** Following-up policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.* Establishing goals for purchasing department aligned with roadmap and strategy of the company* Managing and guiding a team of buyers to meet procurement and supplier management goals* Supervising the team in the management of the supply chain to achieve continuous timely supply of parts and services* Approving purchase orders and change notices through subordinates.* Investigating inventory levels.
