Job summary

Sii Poland in Poland is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join a remote-friendly team focused on memory safety migrations between C/C++ and Rust. You will port legacy libraries, build C++ shims and Rust FFI wrappers, and drive large-scale refactoring with cross-team collaboration.

Strong English and 5+ years of software experience required. The role offers remote work from anywhere in Poland with a focus on secure, high-assurance software development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with Rust and C++
• Deep expertise in unsafe code and FFI
• Strong memory-safety knowledge and cross-language interoperability
• Experience with Bazel/Blaze and dependency management
• Advanced English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy C/C++ libraries to memory-safe Rust equivalents
• Build and maintain C++ shims and Rust FFI wrappers
• Drive large-scale refactoring and dependency updates
• Perform differential and integration testing at scale
• Evaluate performance and security trade-offs with data-driven input
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and review bottlenecks
• Structure migrations into small, reviewable stacks
