Job summary

Anyone AI Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Expert to design realistic mechanical tasks for evaluating AI agents. You will work on CAD modeling, mechanical design, and simulations, validating calculations and producing reference solutions with clear justifications.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, strong CAD experience, and excellent English communication. This is a remote, part-time contract (~20 h/week) with immediate start and potential

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Substantial professional experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, or engineering analysis.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design requirements.
• Experience performing engineering calculations and validating design decisions.
• Strong written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic mechanical engineering tasks based on product development, manufacturing, and industrial engineering workflows.
• Create and review 2D technical drawings, 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering specifications.
• Develop tasks involving mechanical design, materials selection, tolerance analysis, and component optimization.
• Prepare and validate engineering calculations, including stress, strain, forces, thermal behavior, and mechanical performance.
• Work with simulation outputs such as FEA, CFD, or manufacturing simulations.
• Identify design inconsistencies, incorrect assumptions, manufacturing constraints, and potential engineering failures.
• Create reference solutions with traceable calculations, technical explanations, and clearly justified assumptions.
• Review AI-generated engineering outputs for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with technical contributors to establish reproducible tasks and objective evaluation criteria.
