Job summary

Cencora is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to build and lead a new engineering team in Poland, shaping modern software for the Pharmaceutical Trial Master File space. You will combine hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and team building from day one.

You’ll work on scalable solutions, mentor engineers, and drive Agile practices while collaborating with a distributed global organisation. Remote-first in Poland with an optional office in Lublin.

Qualifications

• Lead software engineering focus with hands-on design and delivery
• Experience in modern web stack and scalable systems
• Strong leadership of engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing software engineering team in Poland
• Design scalable, modern software solutions for TMF space
• Be hands-on across architecture, coding and delivery
• Champion quality, security and engineering best practices
• Drive Agile practices: planning, refinement, stand-ups and retrospectives
• Mentor engineers and foster collaborative culture
• Support AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude
• Collaborate with a distributed global organisation
