Job summary

MWI Animal Health is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build and lead a new engineering team in Poland. This remote-first role offers optional office base in Lublin and the chance to shape modern software for the pharmaceutical sector.

You will design scalable systems, mentor engineers, drive Agile processes, and champion quality, security and AI-assisted development in a distributed global organization. You’ll work across architecture, coding and delivery, influencing culture and engineering

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience with production-grade systems.
• Experience leading or technical leadership of engineering teams.
• Background in modern web development (C#, .NET Core, SQL, React).
• Knowledge of cloud-native design, microservices, containers, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Passion for modern engineering practices and AI-augmented development.

This is a rare opportunity to launch and lead a new engineering team in Poland, shaping the way we design, build and deliver modern software for the pharmaceutical industry.
