Mate Technologies is seeking a high-judgment Hiring Partner with at least 2 years of experience to identify, evaluate, and hire across Engineering, Product, Growth, Testing, Design, and Operations. The role emphasizes building a long-term talent pool and engaging passive candidates through structured, evidence-based processes.

This is a part-time/retainer position with a remote/work-from-home setup. People Operations responsibilities are secondary, and you will contribute to onboarding,

Qualifications

• Understand role objective, scorecard, must-have traits, preferred traits, and success criteria before starting recruitment.
• Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through different sourcing channels.
• Build and maintain a high-quality talent pool for current and future hiring needs.
• Efficiently filter large candidate pools without unnecessary interviews.
• Ask strong follow-up questions to verify claims with evidence.
• Evaluate candidates based on evidence rather than gut feeling.
• Submit structured evaluation reports with clear hiring recommendations.
• Use AI and automation to improve recruiting productivity without replacing human judgment.
• Support onboarding, performance-review coordination, contract tracking, documentation, and offboarding.
