Zohorecruit is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support Australian small businesses and sole traders from a remote setup in the Philippines. You will manage financial records, GST/BAS compliance, and payroll using cloud tools like Xero.

Prior AU client exposure is a plus, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timely communication. The role offers 100% remote work, long-term stability, and hands-on training in Australian bookkeeping standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field.
At least 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience (AU client experience is a plus).
Working knowledge of Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks — Xero preferred.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilités

Record daily financial transactions accurately in Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable — create invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
Categorise income and expenses in accordance with Australian chart of accounts.
Assist in preparing BAS and GST reporting.
