Job summary

Pentoz is seeking an Android Studio Developer to join our remote mobile team. You’ll design, develop, and maintain native Android apps using Kotlin, Android Studio, and Jetpack components. You’ll work in agile sprints with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver features, optimize performance, and ensure quality across devices.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years hands-on Android development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• You have published or contributed to apps on Google Play.
• You’re comfortable with Jetpack libraries and Android Studio.
• You’re self-driven, detail-oriented, and collaborative in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Android Development: Designing, developing, and maintaining native Android apps using Android Studio and Kotlin.
• UI/UX Implementation: Creating sleek, responsive UIs with Jetpack Compose or XML layouts following Material Design.
• Performance Optimization: Writing fast, clean code and ensuring compatibility across devices.
• API Integration: Working with REST APIs, Firebase, and third-party SDKs to enhance functionality.
• Testing & Debugging: Using Android Studio tools to test, debug, and optimize performance and memory usage.
• Collaborative Execution: Working with product managers, designers, and QA in agile sprints to deliver features.
