Job summary

Software Mind is seeking a Senior Android Developer to join a global medical travel risk project. You will build and maintain fully native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, ensuring security, performance, and accessibility.

Work with product managers, backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to refine requirements, implement location-based features, push notifications, and robust authentication, while contributing to CI/CD and test automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in native Android development with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with location services and push notifications.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0/OIDC, session management and secure data storage.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries.
• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining unit and UI tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Scrum practices.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• English at C1 level.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with product managers, backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to review requirements and estimate efforts.
• Ensure that the mobile application is fast, secure, and scalable across devices.
• Implement authentication, location features and secure data storage.
• Write unit and UI tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Take part in technical design discussions and code quality reviews.
• Update internal knowledge base and documentation.
