Job summary

Capital.com is seeking an Corporate Security Engineer, AI to own the security of how AI is adopted and operated across the company. You will secure AI integrations, govern data use, and implement controls that ensure auditable, compliant AI deployment in a regulated financial services environment.

The role covers threat modeling, guardrails development, data protection, and governance of shadow AI while aligning with EU AI Act, GDPR, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on AI/ML security experience.
• Experience securing LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, and AI APIs.
• Ability to author AI security policies and risk frameworks.
• Familiarity with EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and GDPR in financial services.
• Proficiency in Python for automation.

Responsibilities

• Review AI system integrations security across LLMs, RAGs, and AI APIs.
• Define secure deployment patterns and threat models for AI tools.
• Lead AI data protection and GDPR-aligned data risk assessments.
• Oversee AI tool risk, governance, and shadow AI controls.
• Support audits and regulatory mapping for AI security.
