Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an AI Process Forward Deployed Engineer in Poland to own and drive AI-powered process automation deployments for enterprise customers. You will lead end-to-end deployments, from initial workflow setup through measurable improvements and handoff.

The role blends software engineering, AI agents, workflow orchestration, and technical leadership across Java services and React interfaces. You will engage with customers and stakeholders, configure platforms, debug integrations,

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering and operating software in enterprise production environments.
• Strong software engineering capabilities across distributed systems and integrations.
• Experience with Java-based services and React interfaces, or similar stacks.
• Practical production experience with AI technologies, including agents and workflow orchestration.
• Ability to explain BPMN workflows and technical concepts to both technical and business audiences.
• Customer-facing engineering or professional services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end deployment journey from the initial workflow to a production-ready deployment.
• Establish successful customer outcomes with an operational workflow and improvement loop.
• Build and customize product capabilities, including AI agents and skill files.
• Configure platform environments and troubleshoot distributed systems in enterprise stacks.
• Develop custom agents and integrations when standard capabilities fall short.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, business, and customers to drive adoption.
• Document best practices and create repeatable deployment playbooks.
• Train customer teams to operate the solution post-handoff.
• Provide engineering insights back into product development and platform evolution.
• Travel occasionally to support engagements.
