Job summary

Runpod, the AI Developer Cloud, is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to support customers, onboarding, and product improvements across teams. The role emphasizes solving complex technical challenges and building trust with customers in a remote-first environment.

You'll combine technical depth with clear communication to enhance customer satisfaction and drive platform improvements while collaborating with sales, product, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• Familiarity with AI use cases such as inference, fine-tuning, LLM-based apps, or agentic systems.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Located in US PST region.
• Background check completed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in sales meetings, explain Runpod tech, and propose architecture for onboarding high-spending customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues escalated by customers.
• Use code analysis, scripting, log analysis, and remote access to identify root causes.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure satisfaction and feedback.
• Assist support in escalated tickets and coordinate with engineering on workarounds or fixes.
• Relay customer and support feedback to engineering to guide product improvements.
• Create and maintain technical docs and deliver training sessions, webinars, and demos.
