Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Krakow is seeking an experienced Release Manager & Coordinator to shape release standards and oversee deployments. You will work with clients and internal teams to improve processes, ensuring smooth production changes in a complex IT landscape.

The role requires coordinating calendars, delivering Go/No-Go decisions, and maintaining PRR content. Strong communication, ITIL awareness, and JIRA/Confluence proficiency are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Release Manager, Release Coordinator or similar role.
• Ability to work outside of typical business hours (production deployments take place evenings CET time zone).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (especially JIRA/Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Define and document release standards for ITIL v3 alignment.
• Coordinate release planning and ensure cross-team dependencies are managed.
• Maintain Production Readiness Review (PRR) content and release templates.
• Own release calendar and publish Go/No-Go decisions and communications.
• Manage release communications to stakeholders and EU CAB.
• Maintain and update RACI lists for release, change, and comms.
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to determine versions and dates.
• Create content on Confluence release pages and track PRR tasks.
• Publish release outcomes including PRR results and risk statements.
• Document testing evidence and declare releases as positively released or rollback when needed.
