Job summary

Persán, a multinational home care and personal care producer, is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to ensure full compliance of products with applicable laws and standards, and to safeguard consumer safety while supporting sustainable growth.

Role focuses on regulatory classification, SDS creation, PCN submissions, and maintaining product dossiers with strong collaboration across the supply chain and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent English written and spoken.
• Minimum two years in a regulatory role within household products.

Responsibilities

• Verify regulatory compliance of detergents with legal and customer requirements.
• Classify chemical mixtures and develop safety data sheets and ingredient data sheets.
• Submit Poison Centres Notification (PCN).
• Maintain and update product dossiers.
• Monitor regulatory acts affecting control and management of chemical mixtures.
• Assess raw materials' compliance with legal and customer requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Support laboratory testing plans.
• Obtain additional product certifications (e.g., EU Ecolabel).
• liaise with external institutions (State Sanitary Inspection, etc.).
• Cooperate with internal and external clients.
• Represent the company in audits.

Regulatory Specialist

Mission

To ensure full compliance of products with applicable legal requirements and industry standards, safeguarding consumer safety, minimizing legal risks, and supporting the company’s sustainable growth.

Main Responsabilities

• Verification of product regulatory compliance with legal and customer requirements in the area of detergent products,
• Classification of chemical mixtures and development of safety data sheets, ingredient data sheets, etc.
• Poison Centres Notification (PCN) submissions,
• Maintaining and updating product dossiers,
• Ongoing monitoring of legal acts regarding the control and management of chemical mixtures,
• Assessment of raw materials' compliance with legal and customer requirements,
• Communication within the supply chain (e.g., with raw materials suppliers),
• Support in laboratory testing plans,
• Additional products certification, e.g., EU Ecolabel,
• Contact with external institutions (State Sanitary Inspection, Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products, Polish Centre for Testing and Certification),
• Cooperation with internal and external clients,

Representing the company and actively participating in audits

Technical Skills

• Specific technical knowledge:
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of key regulations, including REACH, CLP, and the Detergents Regulation.
• Minimum of two years in a similar regulatory position within the household product industry.

REQUIEREMENTS OF THE PROFILE

Academic background

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field such as Biotechnology.

Languages Skills

English, with fluent written and verbal communication skills.

Soft Skills

i.e.: good communication skills, leadership, ability to work in teams, ability to work under pressure, strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements effectively, highly organized, self-taught, and detail-oriented, with a natural curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
