Persán, a multinational home care and personal care company, is seeking a Regulatory Specialist to ensure full compliance of products with applicable legal requirements and industry standards. You will manage SDSs, documentations, and liaison with external bodies while monitoring evolving regulations across detergents and related products.

The role requires a chemistry or chemical engineering background with at least two years in a similar regulatory position, strong English skills, and a

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field such as Biotechnology.
• Minimum two years in a similar regulatory position within household product industry.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication.

Mansioni

• Verify product regulatory compliance with legal and customer requirements in the detergents area.
• Classify chemical mixtures and develop safety data sheets, ingredient data sheets, etc.
• Submit Poison Centres notifications (PCN) and maintain product dossiers.
• Monitor changes in regulatory acts governing chemical mixtures and relate to raw materials.

Regulatory Specialist

MISSION:

To ensure full compliance of products with applicable legal requirements and industry standards, safeguarding consumer safety, minimizing legal risks, and supporting the company’s sustainable growth.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verification of product regulatory compliance with legal and customer requirements in the area of detergent products,
• Classification of chemical mixtures and development of safety data sheets, ingredient data sheets, etc.
• Poison Centres Notification (PCN) submissions,
• Maintaining and updating product dossiers,
• Ongoing monitoring of legal acts regarding the control and management of chemical mixtures,
• Assessment of raw materials’ compliance with legal and customer requirements,
• Communication within the supply chain (e.g., with raw materials suppliers),
• Support in laboratory testing plans,
• Additional products certification, e.g., EU Ecolabel,
• Contact with external institutions (State Sanitary Inspection, Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products, Polish Centre for Testing and Certification),
• Cooperation with internal and external clients,

Representing the company and actively participating in audits

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Specific technical knowledge:
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of key regulations, including REACH, CLP, and the Detergents Regulation.
• Minimum of two years in a similar regulatory position within the household product industry.

• Familiarity with software for creating SDSs and classifying mixtures will be considered an additional asset.

REQUIEREMENTS OF THE PROFILE

Academic background

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field such as Biotechnology.

Languages skills

English, with fluent written and verbal communication skills.

Soft skills

i.e.: good communication skills, leadership, ability to work in teams, ability to work under pressure, strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements effectively, highly organized, self-taught, and detail-oriented, with a natural curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
