Job summary

UBS Group AG is seeking a QA professional in Kraków/Wroclaw to perform regular quality assurance testing across UBS internal systems’ reports and regulatory reporting reports.

You will develop data controls, analyze large datasets, and build automation tools to improve efficiency while ensuring accurate and timely regulatory data delivery to global regulators. The role is operation-focused, not strictly technical.

Qualifications

• A degree in an analytical field (Finance, Economics, Data/Computer Science)
• 1+ year in financial services (data analysis, controls, regulatory reporting, or audit)
• Basic understanding of risk and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Enhance Data Controls: Create controls for completeness and accuracy by translating regulatory rules into operational process.
• Data Analysis: Analyse large datasets, identify breaks, patterns, and identify root causes with reference to regulatory standards.
• Efficiency Improvement: Build reusable queries, data models, and self-service validation tools to improve efficiency and process quality.
• Exception Investigation: Deep dive into breaks and collaborate with IT, middle office, report processing, and Compliance teams
• Solutioning: Post identification of root causes, propose fix solution that are supported by robust analytical evidence and scalable logic.
• Regulatory Change Support: Implement and test updated reporting rules, mapping logic, and new data attributes.
• Automation & AI: Contribute to automation, data quality indicators, anomaly detection models, and scalable control frameworks
