Job summary

KONE is seeking a Business Controller to join the Finance team, supporting Poland & Ukraine and Czech Republic & Slovakia. This role drives regional finance control, budgeting, and performance reporting within a centralized model.

You will partner with service business, influence commercial decisions, and lead improvement initiatives to deliver profitable growth. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in Business Controlling, FP&A, Finance or a similar role.
• Master’s degree in finance or accounting; CIMA/ACCA underway is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with solid financial insights.
• Self-motivated and result-driven with project management abilities.
• Ability to influence and drive improvement with clear communication.
• Fluent English; knowledge of Polish/Czech/Slovak/Ukrainian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business, understanding drivers and performance metrics.
• Act as Finance Business Partner to Service line, guiding decisions toward growth.
• Develop forward-looking insights for pricing and productivity initiatives.
• Coordinate budgeting, month-end closing, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Drive process improvements and automation across regions.
• Support strategic planning for the service business.
• Provide training and coaching on reporting and accounting topics.
• Lead projects toward objectives and key results.
