Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Warsaw is seeking a Finance Controller Poland & CEE to provide financial guidance and strategic support across the region. You will interact with regional and country leaders and report to the SEE Regional Finance Controller, driving profitability and governance in a dynamic healthcare environment.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-country collaboration, and deep expertise in finance with fluency in Polish and English.

Qualifications

Master’s degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economy. MBA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA desirable.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience within various roles in Controlling Department.
Minimum 5 years of international experience dealing with multiple countries.
Outstanding leadership, analytical, communication and presentation skills.
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Fluent in Polish and English.
Previous successful experience in people management.
Ability to provide strategic guidance to senior executives.

Responsibilities

Oversee 8 countries with annual sales of over US $250MM.
Ensure all financial activity complies with Abbott policies and local laws.
Manage, consolidate and report monthly financial results with timeliness and insight.
Provide leadership and day-to-day support to Finance & Demand staff.
Support Commercial Heads and Regional Controller during business reviews.
Involvement in monthly CDR process with each country and consolidation of regional results.
Ensure risks and opportunities are evaluated and communicated to regional senior management.
Align Demand and Finance processes and organize the regional calendar.
Drive process improvements to benefit regions or HQ and improve profitability.
