FRoSTA AG in Bydgoszcz is seeking a Finance & Controlling Business Controller (f/m/d) to act as a strategic partner to the Polish and Central European management teams, contributing to the company’s success.

You will provide transparent performance insights, identify market drivers, support Sales, Marketing, and Trade Marketing with sound analyses, and drive cross-functional projects across borders.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting with a focus on controlling.
• Knowledge of Central European and Polish markets or willingness to adapt processes for Polish/CEE markets.
• Ability to present complex topics clearly to internal stakeholders.
• High level of commitment with a strong drive to achieve goals and excellent analytical skills.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner to Polish and Central European management teams.

In this position, you will act as a business partner to our Polish and Central European management teams, contributing to the success of the business.

• You provide transparent insights into the company’s performance, identify key market drivers, and evaluate potential actions based on opportunities and risks.
• You support the development of the local Sales, Marketing, and Trade Marketing teams by acting as a co-pilot and enabling effective decision-making.
• You are responsible for developing and monitoring market strategies in close cooperation with the Sales team, as well as preparing analyses and business cases for customers.
• You actively participate in domestic and international cross-functional projects.

Your profile: We like what makes you stand out

• You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting or a related field, with a focus on controlling.
• You have knowledge of the Central European and Polish markets, or you would like to leverage yourexperience and expertise gained in Germany or Italy to design and implement the processes controlling processes for the Polish and CEE markets.
• You are able to present complex topics in a clear and understandable way to internal stakeholders.
• You demonstrate high level of commitment and a strong drive to achieve goals, combined with excellent analytical skills.
• You are fluent in English.
