Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Finance Controller for Poland & CEE, based in Warsaw, to guide financial strategy and performance across multiple countries. You will report to the Regional Finance Controller SEE and collaborate with regional offices and senior management in ADC.

The role requires 10+ years in Controlling, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and fluency in Polish and English, with a track record in leadership and cross‑cultural teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economy as a core requirement.
• 5+ years international experience across multiple countries; regional consolidation experience.
• Fluent in Polish and English; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 8 countries with annual sales > US$250MM.
• Ensure all financial activity complies with Abbott policies, local laws and regulations.
• Consolidate, report monthly results with timeliness, accuracy and actionable insights.
• Develop Finance & Demand staff and provide leadership to regional teams.
• Support Commercial Heads and Regional Controller during reviews and processes.
• Involve in monthly CDR with country prep and regional consolidation; present insights and actions.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to regional senior management.
• Align Demand and Finance processes and manage the regional calendar.
